This bouquet was sent to me from a dear friend for a very special occasion.
 
Once again, fresh beautiful floral bouquets keep giving.  As I am captivated by the beauty of each and every flower, I want this impression to endure everytime I see this photo/painting.
 
I desired certain aspects of the original photograph to stand out and I felt the urge to "play" with the image.  Therefore, with delight, I applied graphic effects and details.  Then I hand painted over these areas with heavy gel medium and acrylic paint, adhered it to a hand-painted gold canvas frame.  For protection, I applied a sealant over the entire piece.
 
This is one way I design and create enduring memories of heart-warming gifts I that I have graciously be given and recieved with deep gratitude.
